The album description mentions an “emotional apex.” That’s really the difference between Stare and the band’s previous albums. Ulcerate was always supremely technically proficient. I just didn’t care all that much. Their growth has come from making music you will feel. Metallurgical Fire
Great riffs and melodies create an atmosphere that disembowels the silence in a aggressive and raw way. Yet you can find subtlety in every part of this album. Not innovative but audacious way to build on black metal. elhater
this band was the best surprise for me. the sound brings agony and ferocity, his compositions are cold and true ... and leave a mind ... ecstatic every time I listen loudly, alone and walking at dawn veneficus_malus
The UK four-piece summon the ghosts of metal past to create an unsparing album that's unmistakably contemporary. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jun 30, 2022
Wind blasted melodic black metal from the fields of Ukraine. The production is raw and gritty and the performance is aggressive. The additional acoustic guitar passage give some room to breath. Another solid release. 7/10 RJ
